TopBall is a free online 2D soccer game at topball.eu. This page explains what information the game uses, why, and how you can delete it.

Playing as a guest

You can play without an account. Guests only play unranked matches. Your nickname, flag, shirt and key settings are kept in your own browser (local storage) and are not stored on our server after you leave.

Signing in with Google or Discord

If you sign in, Google or Discord tells our server who you are. We keep only:

We do not store your email address, your contacts or anything else from your Google or Discord account, and we never post anything on your behalf. Your browser keeps a random session code so you stay signed in; signing out removes it.

Community designs

If you create a shirt or an emote, we store the picture, its name and your player name as its creator. Until a moderator approves it, only the moderators can see it; after that, everyone can see it in the game and in the shop. If you delete your account, your designs are deleted too.

While you play

Your nickname, flag, shirt, position and chat messages are shown to the other players in real time. Chat messages are not saved.

Who we share it with

Nobody. We do not sell your data, show ads or use tracking or analytics cookies. The game runs on Fly.io servers in Frankfurt (Germany), which store the account data for us. The page loads its fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when it sends them.

Deleting your account

Sign in on the start screen and press Delete account. Your account and all its game data are removed from our server straight away. You can also remove TopBall's access from your Google or Discord account settings at any time.

Children

Signing in with Google or Discord is subject to their own minimum age rules. Players under that age can play as guests.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above.
